
2025 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Perception and Pattern Recognition (IPPR 2025) was successfully held from August 15 to 17, 2025, in the mountain city of Chongqing, and has now concluded.
The conference was sponsored by Chongqing University, supported by Chongqing Normal University. It received strong support from institutions such as Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Zhejiang University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The event brought together numerous experts and scholars in the field of intelligent perception and pattern recognition to discuss cutting-edge advancements.

The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Zhang Lei from the School of Microelectronics and Communication Engineering at Chongqing University. Professor Zhang introduced the keynote speakers and invited Professor Tan Xiaoheng, Dean of the Graduate School of Chongqing University, and Professor Wang Guoyin, President of Chongqing Normal University, to deliver opening speeches. The two professors highlighted the value of the conference as a crucial academic exchange platform, taking into account the current development trends in intelligent perception and pattern recognition. They also expressed their sincere gratitude and warm welcome to the distinguished guests and participants who attended the event.

The conference attracted over 100 scholars attending in person and more than 30 representatives participating online. Attendees came from universities, research institutes, and enterprises, including professors, researchers, engineers, and graduate students. The conference featured three main sessions: keynote speeches, oral presentations, and poster presentations. The content centered on hot research directions such as visual and image perception technologies, biological and speech perception technologies, and intelligent systems and environmental perception. The on-site exchange was vibrant, with experts and scholars from home and abroad engaging in in-depth discussions on related topics, effectively promoting international academic exchange and collaboration in the field of intelligent perception and pattern recognition.
